If you are on Facebook, YouTube or any other social media channel, you will be familiar with a person who creates travel videos in 1 minute. Nuseir Yassin, founder and CEO of Nas Daily. Nas means ‘people’ in Arabic.

Nuseir Yassin is an Arab Israeli-born Kittitian citizen video blogger who is most notable for having created 1,000 daily one-minute-long videos on Facebook under the page Nas Daily.

He quit his full-time job at Venmo to start vlogging in 2016. He decided to explore the world, to document his travel and experiences on his videos. This ended up in his Facebook page, ‘Nas Daily’ which has over 20 Million followers as of Sep 2021.

As per Nas Academy, his online success didn’t shoot up overnight. He didn’t make any money in the first 500 days. It took travelling to many countries and thousands of hours to get himself to where he is today.

For the first 500 days of Nuseir’s creator journey, Facebook videos weren’t able to be monetized. In other words, half of Nas Daily’s journey generated $0 in income. Nuseir had to keep the company going by investing his entire life savings.

Slowly but surely, Nuseir started breaking even once he took on side gigs such as consulting and video gigs. These side hustles brought in around $2,000-$3,000 a month, which was barely enough money to live on and run a company with – but he made it work.

And then, one day, Facebook enabled monetization.

From there, Nas Daily officially took off.

How did Nas Daily start earning money?

It was day 609 when, overnight, the Nas Daily company went from racking up 100,000 views to a whopping 1 million views on Facebook.

At this point, it was 2017 and Nas Daily had gathered about 5 million followers. They were generating a monthly income of $15,000, coming from two main sources: Facebook ads ($10,000) and speaking engagements ($5,000).

Nuseir Yassin was travelling the world, creating content, and doing what he loved – all while generating a monthly revenue stream that rivalled his corporate salary. The more he created Facebook videos, the more he was approached to do public speaking gigs. And over time, brands who wanted to create videos just like Nas Daily started approaching them for help.

With time, Nas Daily’s net worth started growing. His income started averaging $20,000-$25,000 a month from Facebook, and around $15,000 from speaking gigs and brand deals – totalling up to an average monthly income of around $40,000 before the 1,000 days were up.

And then, finally, on January 5, 2019, Nuseir finished his 1,000-day journey – after 65 countries, 1,000 video uploads, and too many sleepless nights to count.

Nas Daily had become 10 million followers strong. And by the final day, Nuseir’s personal net worth was estimated to be $900,000.

After finishing his 1000 daily video journeys, in Feb 2019, Nas Daily officially started providing boutique video production services to brands under the Nas Studios company. Nuseir started scaling up its operations, hiring employees and building a team of talented creators to produce branded videos. They charged anywhere between $10,000-$70,000 per project.

Before they knew it, Nas Studios was generating $100,000 a month gross profit, with around $40,000 in costs – making a monthly net profit of $60,000.
