E-commerce major Amazon went ahead with a personal touch on their 404 pages. Amazon replaced their uninformative and unhelpful 404 pages with the more personal one.

The 404 page features dogs of Amazon employees. The 404 page also has a link to their page dedicated to dogs “The Dogs of Amazon“. The dogs of Amazon page feature the profile of a dozen dogs, all of which belongs to Amazon employees.

You can also buy the dogs of amazon calendar as well, the portion of calendar sales goes to ASPCA. Apart from the cute dogs, Amazon has turned the page to a recruitment tool which offers a glimpse of Amazon work environment.

On any given day at Amazon’s Seattle headquarters, employees share the workspace with as many as 7,000 dogs. At Amazon, bring-your-dog-to-work day is every day.

There are plenty of fun things for dogs to do on their campus. On the 17th floor of one of the buildings (Doppler), there’s a doggie deck—complete with a fake fire hydrant—where dogs can run around.

Amazon’s culture is not just about bringing pets to their campus. The researchers have found out that having pets in the workplace found to lower stress and boost morale.
